LA DAMA

La Dama’s story started in 2006, when Gabriele decided – together with his wife Miriam and with the strong support of his father-in-law Giampiero, who was the first to believe in their project – to take up the challenge of producing whine. Gabriele’s vineyards are situated in Valpolicella’s most classic viticultural zones: the ten hectares cultivated in organic regime – pergola- and espalier-trained vines – are spread across the vineyards of Negrar and up to 45 years’ old. That is where we also find the winery and the hills of Sant’Ambrogio, beautifully reflecting on Lake Garda, an area that produces extraordinary finesse grapes. The land consists of clay soil and is alluvial.
