Orange wine, ancient knowledge in a modern version

Orange wines are basically wines produced with white wine grapes but vinified as though they were red wines. As this method goes back centuries, orange wines are closely associated with natural wines. To make orange wine, whole white grapes are crushed and then macerated with their skins and stems for as little as one week and up to one year. This creates the characteristic amber or orange colour.
