PODERE SANTE MARIE – TOSCANA

The Santa Maria company, typically known in Montalcino as “le Sante Marie”, was born out of the desire to live a life in symbiosis with the rhythms of nature. In 1995, the head office accidentally discovered an ancient Brunello vineyard. From the very beginning, Marino Colleoni and Luisa have embraced organic viticulture. Today, they want to go even further and are constantly in search of even more natural methods. In the winery, wines are vinified using
spontaneous yeasts. Fermentation is carried out in 20 hl barrels for 6 to 7 days, without temperature control, and with long macerations of 20 to 25 days.
